Congratulations to CBI doctoral students Anabel Gonzalez Alvarenga and Ryan Porell of the Schnaar Lab, who collaborated as co-first authors on a paper highlighted as the “Editor’s Choice” in the latest issue of the journal Glycobiology.

Their studies discovered a molecular signal on human airways that down-regulates allergic inflammation. Alvarenga and Porell contributed to the work highlighted on the journal cover.
