The CBI Program at Johns Hopkins University has partnered with The Leadership Alliance to provide summer research opportunities to undergraduate students who are members of groups that have traditionally been underrepresented in science.
Students with an interest in carrying out research at the Chemistry-Biology Interface will spend 10 weeks at Johns Hopkins University in a laboratory of a CBI faculty member. Participants will receive room and board, travel assistance, and a $3,000 stipend.
If you are interested in this opportunity, please apply to the Leadership Alliance. The application deadline for Summer 2017 research opportunities is February 1, 2017.
To apply for summer research you will need to submit:
- An online application
- Official transcripts
- Statement of purpose
- Two letters of recommendation.
In your statement of purpose, please indicate that you are interested in carrying out research at the Chemistry-Biology Interface. After you have submitted your application to The Leadership Alliance, please email us with your name and the date your application was submitted.
